Day 1 – Leather Understanding & Repair Fundamentals

• Types of leather and how automotive leather is produced

• Product systems and correct areas of use

• Safe cleaning and protection – hands-on

• Surface preparation and masking

• Repairing scratches, scuffs, peeling and cracking

• Rebuilding surface structure and damaged areas

Day 2 – Colour Restoration & Full Interior Repair

• Colour matching – hands-on mixing and testing

• Re-colouring bolsters using sponge and spray

• Full seat restoration process – hands-on

• Spraying techniques for consistent results

• Advanced leather repairs – hands-on

• Final topcoat protection

• Pricing structure – how to quote leather repair jobs professionally

By the end of the course, you will know how to diagnose damage, repair worn areas, mix colours accurately and restore leather to an OEM finish.

This course includes theory and heavy hands-on practice. You will leave confident in your ability to provide leather repair services. No one becomes an expert after one or two days, but we provide all the tools, guidance and support networks you need to continue improving. Most students require around four weeks of practice to refine their new skills after completing the training.
