TAC System MoonLight Coating – High-Gloss SiO₂ Protection with Long-Lasting Durability

TAC System MoonLight Coating is an advanced oil-based maintenance coating designed to enhance gloss and protect exterior vehicle surfaces. The formula contains 25% SiO₂, delivering deep shine and durable protection that lasts up to 9 months. MoonLight helps vehicles maintain a fresh, just-detailed appearance with minimal effort.

MoonLight works as a topper for existing ceramic and SiO₂ coatings. It also performs as a stand-alone protective coating. The surface becomes slick, glossy, and highly resistant to contamination. Compared to traditional waxes and sealants, MoonLight lasts up to twice as long while offering superior visual enhancement.

What is TAC System MoonLight Coating used for?

MoonLight is designed for all exterior vehicle surfaces. It can be applied to paintwork, trims, plastics, and wheels. The coating improves hydrophobic behavior instantly. Water beads strongly. Dirt releases more easily. Maintenance washing becomes faster and safer.

When used on wheels, MoonLight reduces brake dust adhesion. Cleaning requires less effort. The coating helps maintain a clean appearance for longer.

How long does MoonLight Coating last?

MoonLight provides up to 9 months of durability, depending on driving conditions and maintenance routines. The high SiO₂ content creates a strong protective layer. This layer resists weather, road grime, and light chemical exposure. The coating maintains gloss and slickness far longer than conventional waxes.

After application, MoonLight requires 2–4 hours of curing time before water contact.

How do you apply TAC System MoonLight correctly?

Clean and dry all exterior surfaces thoroughly. Apply on cool panels and out of direct sunlight. Use a dedicated microfiber suede or applicator pad. Apply a small amount of product and work panel by panel. MoonLight spreads very efficiently.

Allow the coating to dwell for 1–3 minutes. Buff off residue with a clean, soft microfiber towel until the surface is clear and glossy.

Wear gloves during application. Use dedicated towels only. Towels used with MoonLight will harden after use.
